Its true what they say. A picture says a thousand words. A photo can keep a memory for a long time. Today when I was out to photograph the snow. I saw this lost and found sign. I was reminded of a few years ago. My kids nailed a bunk bed ladder to the tree out back and they would climb it, and hang out up there. My son had made this "lost and found" sign and would hang lost socks scarves whatever on it. I went out one day and asked him where the nails went.... As it turns out his little sister was climbing down once and scratched herself badly on a protruding nail... he swiftly hammered all the nails that he couldn't pull out... all the way in. He did it to protect his baby sister. The sister he fought with 24/7 the sister he said he hated... He loved her, and it was obvious from the removed and pounded in nails in this little "lost and found" sign.
