day 3 out of the house!

 My husband is laid off. Have I mentioned that? My husband loves football. "LUCKILY" he's laid off during the most footbally time of year! HOORAH! Football has been on my T.V. SO much, I don't think it can even play anything but. That and he keeps sniffling but won't blow his damn nose. I needed out of the house today. Needed OUT.

 I also needed to take a photo for my 365, and also for my weekly assignment group https://www.flickr.com/groups/activeassignment/ The theme this week is "your community at night" I figured why not kill 2 birds with one stone?

 I cooked up a nice meal for the 3 people in the house tonight... And the blonde one did indeed find an onion in her sloppy joe.

 Upon finding the onion she was finished, ate the fries and some of the corn and said she was done. For YEARS she would eat her happy meal cheeseburger without issue, one day out of the blue she opened the darn thing, found an onion and in INSISTENT there be NO onions, will check and if she sees so much as a sliver of those nasty dehydrated tasteless things she won't touch it. Even though I remind her for YEARS she ate them not knowing. This child can find an onion the size of a microscopic cell... Yet she can't find her shoes.

 The hubby mentioned our local temporary
 ice rink that is open for a few more weeks as a photo op. Wow, GREAT idea, amazing right? Plus it was a town over, longer time to be away from home, and the football, and the sniffling. I love him. I swear. I do.

I saw this Walmart cafe while we were driving around... As if Walmart is not making enough money!? The color and lighting were cool. Sadly I can only enter two in my weekly challenge and this one did not make my cut!





So then my child mentioned this large light up ball in downtown... She showed me a picture her friend had taken of it and immediately I knew I had seen it... NEVER knew it lit up! Goes to show you do learn something daily! This ball is super cool. It changes color, makes eclipse of color, and almost glitters!!! Very neat. I would have spent more time watching it, but it is raining (soft drizzle) cold (42) and I didn't bring my doggone tripod with me for long exposures. DANG IT!!!!

 After a night of picture taking we needed something to eat. Something without onions. Some TCBY sounded appropriate. MMMM Grapefruit sorbet. YUM!

 Still lovin' that phone, she's watched 22 episodes of SVU in like 2 days she bragged... But since she's also eating TCBY and got to drive me around... I think today she also loves me! Even though she found onions in her joe. This made up for that.
